And I have fallen in love with the Garden. After years of my husband praying and God working on my heart, I have found a hobby that brings me so much joy!

When I was a little girl my mom-mom always had a garden. She would grow zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, the works. She loved her garden. She also grew lavender and I remember doing so many fun crafts with the lavender. But mostly I remembered how much hard work was involved in gardening. She always made me help pull weeds, and picking the veggies I would get all itchy and gross. I did not love the garden.

Fast forward to today and I embrace the gross and sometimes itchy and sometimes hard work, because I can see the beauty and the benefit far exceeds the little bit of hard. Getting my hands and feet in the dirt connects me to the Creator on a level I had not experienced as an adult. Gardening feeds my family and my soul and I want everyone to experience this joy and passion.
